"Basil" - a 1949 Singer Super 12.

Basil is the most recent addition to our collection. We purchased him in October 2012 unseen and he came all the way from Scotland. He is the youngest of all our cars being only 63yrs.

An original car advert describes the Singer Super 12 "a full five seater, with generous luggage room in the boot, this is a small car only in running costs. In comfort and finish, performance and workmanship, the new Twelve exemplifies the Singer policy which produced the post-war Nine and Ten. A car above and ahead of to-day's accepted standards".
